On the coast of West Clare; are the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. They rise in places to over 700 feet and stretch for almost 8 km. O' Brien's Tower which was constructed in the early l9th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists is located on Moher's highest cliffs. The Craggaunowen Bronze Age project at Quin is a reconstruction of a bronze age site with prehistoric lake dwellings; early Christian ring fort; Iron Age roadway and the replica of the Brendan; the 6th century vessel.
