In 1860 it became famous because it was the wedding gift for the Marquis Raimondi's daughter, who married "THE HERO OF TWO WORLDS", General Giuseppe Garibaldi. Unfortunately the marriage lasted only few hours, Garibaldi realized some shady episodes from his bride's past and abandoned her. In 1958 the Villa was transformed into a hotel by the present owners and rebuilt between 1989 and 1992. The careful restauration of Venetian-stucco decorations and wall frescos match węth the new and more modern technical efliciency. At the Hotel "Villa Flori" one stili enjoys the Romantic 18th -century atmosphere.
