It occupies the first floor of the just restored Cicala Palace, a fine example of the seventeenth century architecture; the side of the building facing Cathedral square, holds traces of a medieval loggia, while the main frontage, with its wonderful architecture rich of stucco decorations, is typical of the seventeenth century. The inside has been restored with a preserving repair. The furnishing draw inspiration from modern design, characterized by minimal linear shapes, vivid colours and sober elegance of the rooms. The bedrooms, all en suite, are on the first floor of the palace, and their dimensions range between 30 and 40 square metres, with 4.5 metres high vaulted ceilings. Richly adorned with stucco decorations, the rooms evoke the charme of ancient times, but they also provide customers with every modern comfort: telephone, fax, satellite television, personal computer, internet connection, DVD movies. Children from 0 to 4 years free of charge. Children from 4 to 12 years 50% off. Children of 13 or over will be treated as adults. Breakfast is included in the price. La locanda di palazzo Cicala ha tutto il fascino di un hotel de charme. Occupa il piano nobile dello storico palazzo Cicala appena restaurato. La facciata sulla piazza Duomo presenta tracce di una loggia medioevale, mentre la facciata principale, tipicamente settecentesca, ha splendide decorazioni in stucco. La locanda Þ stata interamente restaurata con un intervento di tipo conservativo. Invece l'arredo, fondamentalmente ispirato ai criteri del design contemporaneo, ricerca nella linearitÓ minimalista delle forme e nei colori sobri un'eleganza che si arricchisce grazie al calibrato inserimento di alcuni mobili tradizionali. Le camere, spaziose e luminose, con altissimi soffitti a volta, ricchi di stucchi e decorazioni, regalano la magia del passato, offrendo, tuttavia, ogni confort moderno. Nell' ampio salone affacciato su piazza San Lorenzo, funziona da distribuzione delle camere, Þ possibile sorseggiare un aperitivo davanti a una suggestiva vista del Duomo. I bambini dagli 0 ai 4 anni godranno di un trattamento gratuito, mentre quelli dai 4 ai 12 anni di etÓ pagheranno solo il 50% della cifra.
