Il FerroneBed & BreakfastFerrone 50023 Impruneta Firenze Toscana Check Availabilty and Online Booking "Il Ferrone" is a splendid 18th century villa standing just outside the picturesque village of the same name, three kilometres from Impruneta and a short drive from Florence itself (twenty minutes). What renders this charming property truly outstanding is the idyllic beauty of the spacious, twelve-acre garden that surrounds it. Access to "Il Ferrone" is by way of a magnificent, tree-lined drive, flanked by ancient cypress trees: guests cannot fail to be moved by their proud elegance as they draw near to the house. This property is now home to a young couple of Italian aristocrats who recently moved here from Rome. They have dedicated time and patience to restoring and decorating the interiors in classic style of impeccable taste. "Il Ferrone" is available for renting during the summer months. Technical Description: Ground Floor: To gain access to the villa, you cross a large outside terrace and pass the threshold of the main front door. The master dining room, with its ancient beamed ceiling, is to your right. Continuing on towards the second, smaller dining room with fire-place you will notice steps down to a substantial underground wine cellar. Beyond the second dining room is a roomy kitchen with laundry room and larders. A long corridor from the kitchen takes you past a guest bathroom to the right before it opens out into the magnificent drawing room with fire-place. The ground floor also contains a spacious study. First Floor: There are three separate stairways leading up to the first floor, one on the east side, one on the west and another in the middle of the villa. The east-side staircase takes you up to a landing area with access to two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with a Jacuzzi. The corridor running along the floor has windows giving onto the patio to the right while to your left you will see doors to a double bedroom with its own dressing-room, a single room with en-suite sitting room and small bathroom, two more double bedrooms, and a small, well-stocked library. At the end of this corridor there is another double bedroom - again with its own en-suite bathroom with bath anda further bathroom with bath. A single bedroom with its own bathroom completes the floor.
